There is far more to the optimum camshaft than creating the greatest camshaft profile. Wishbone Classics' camshafts are not only proven in terms of performance, but are very accurately ground and exceptionally finished. There are no other companies producing TR6 camshafts to the quality standards we hold our camshaft manufacturing requirements to. Our cam profiles are all of recent design, within the last 5 years, have been proven to be consistent performers as well as having excellent durability. Consequently our cams cost more, we do not compete on price.

July 22nd 2011:  Our WBC518 profile has just been dyno proven  to produce in excess of 180HP on a street TR6 engine.

All cams are priced at $472.50 and ground to order (with customized valve timing) on new cam cores.  Special split profile camshafts are available for turbocharged applications for a small additional fee over the base price.

WBC497 Mid-260s 1500-5500 Good basic street camshaft profile, suitable for upto 9:1 CR.  Valve timing can be specified for naturally aspirated or forced induction motors.  Retains very good idle and road manners.  If you're looking for slightly improved performance without the complication or expense of purchasing a multitude of other components, this is the profile that will suit you. 
WBC518 Lower-270s 2000-6000 One of our most versatile and popular cam grinds.  Dyno proven to be capable of supporting in excess of 180hp on street engines.  Suitable upto 9.75:1 CR, works well with standard and ported cylinder heads, standard or uprated carbs / intake / exhaust.  This is an excellent cam that can grow with the changes you make to your engine setup.
WBC529 Upper-270s 2300-6500 Our most recently designed camshaft.  For best use you should have 9.75-10.5:1 CR, ported head, modified intake/carbs and exhaust.  This profile is quite aggressive in design, it was designed primarily for use with 1.55:1 rockers for a net valve lift of 0.450", however it works just fine with the standard rockers as well.  As noted this profile is aggressive, your valvetrain needs to be stout enough to handle it, you must run our tubular pushrods with this profile.
WBC538 Lower-280s 2600-7000 Our top of the line street profile, noticible lumpy idle but it offers far greater higher RPM potential than our any of the previous grinds.  Requires our tubular pushrods.  Bottom end torque and driving flexibility of the engine can be improved when using this cam by moving to a larger cylinder bore, giving 200cc extra of displacement.
We have multiple race only profiles for Triumph Spitfires, GT6s, TR250s and TR6s.  Please inquire for recommendations.  It has been our experience that most enthusiasts and even racers lack the experience to properly match a camshaft to their engine configuration and intended use.  As a result many engines are over-cammed and never realize their full performance potential due to the inefficiencies of the combination.
