Our hard coated aluminum front engine plates solve the issue of the spring steel timing tensioner blade wearing into the soft aluminum of these lightweight plates.  The hard coating has a hardness approaching HRC70, making it exceptionally wear resistant.  The threaded holes in the plate also benefit from increased wear resistance that the hard coating provides. 
This front plate fits all Triumph GT6, TR250 and TR6 (USA models through 1974).
