We've manufactured this front plate gasket from a high quality non-asbestos gasket material that is made in the USA.  We specifically chose this material for its excellent sealing traits and low-distortion when the front plate and camshaft retaining plate are tightened.  The material we are using also matches the original gasket material for the correct thickness, which means your camshaft will be positioned as Triumph intended.
Customers outside of the USA should purchase this gasket over our original (asbestos based) red gasket.  Similarly, any customer who wishes to have a non-asbestos based gasket, should purchase our green material gasket.
